RULES:
1. Arrive for your scheduled encounter 10 minutes early.
2. All children under 3 must be held while in the Reindeer pen.
3. No strollers or car seats inside the Reindeer pen.
4. Must listen to staff directions at all times.
5. You are participating at your own risk.
8. Tickets can be rescheduled with a 48-hour notice as long as we have the availability to do so.
9. Goats and sheep are DEADLY to our reindeer. If you have been around Goats/Sheep, you must change your clothes and shoes before visiting the farm.
10. Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult with a ticket.
Warning! Avoid Sheep and Goats before your visit to our farm. Sheep and Goats can carry an airborne spore that is deadly to reindeer. Please make sure to wear clean shoes/boots and fresh clothing that hasn't come into contact with these animals when you come to visit us.
Attention for those with Service animals - Both pets and service animals are NOT permitted
on the farm. Per ADA.gov, "if permitting service animals would fundamentally alter the nature of a service program, service animals may be prohibited. At a zoo, service animals can be restricted from areas where the animals on display are the natural prey or natural predators of dogs, where the presence of a dog would be disruptive, causing the displayed animals to behave aggressively or become agitated." It is for the safety of our guests that we ask that your animals not join you during a farm tour.
Weather Policy: We offer Reindeer Encounters rain or shine! Most of our areas are covered, including the encounter zone. The only time you may be exposed to weather is while walking between buildings, so we recommend bringing an umbrella if rain is in the forecast. Rest assured, your experience will remain comfortable regardless of the weather.
** Severe Weather Policy**: In the event of severe weather - such as thunderstorms, tornadoes, or other dangerous conditions - we may need to postpone your encounter for safety reasons. If this happens, we'll be happy to reschedule your tour to another available date within the same calendar year, during the months we offer encounters.
